I just changed our stop loss on LANC to $51.93.
VR stays at $23.19 and the rest of the market is to me very unclear.
Let's wait some more time before taking any position.

Hi,
ReplyDeleteJust wondering your thoughts on the market and if there are any new stocks to watch?
Also, how come you don't use trailing stops instead of stop limits?
Hello,
ReplyDeletethere is nothing really attracting me at the moment.
As for the trailing stops... I do not like them, specially with choppy market sessions.
Sometimes stocks move up 20% then back 15% in 2 days then still go up another 50%. See IPHS from May to Nov. 2009.
Hey! What ever happened to your stop loss calculator? Any chance of putting that back up? I'd like to recalculate stops on my current stocks.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for your next pick!
hello,
ReplyDeleteserver down... recovery is much longer than expected.
as a guideline: I usually set stop losses at around the 20-day moving average of daily low prices (I am also doing it manually in these weeks for the 2 stocks I have)
Alright.. Sounds good! Thanks for the advice!
ReplyDeleteNo insight on the market still? Any items on the watchlist?
